Thank you for volunteering for the 2023 Mary E. Smith Brain Tumor Awareness 5K Fun Run/Walk! 

VOLUNTEERS are needed as early as 6:00am through out the event. Duties available are set-up crew, event runner, route assistant, vendor assistant, and break down crew.

We thank you in advance for being flexible. Volunteer assignments may change and you may be asked to jump in wherever needed as we make sure all of our stations are fully covered.

Your task includes table set up, moving supplies, placing yard signs & water stations along the route.  Blow up balloons and help direct early arrivals of our participants.

We typically need someone to organize t-shirts & bibs and hand them out.

Please be familiar with the area.  We typically need someone to pick up items being brought in such as food by local donors or other supplies. 

Your task is to man the water station for participants where needed along the route.  BRING A LAWN CHAIR & if you have noise makers (whistles, bells, clappers) to encourage them as they go by.

Your task is to set up tents and sit at open vendor tables in their absence.  You may also be needed to be the on-site runner for any supplies, water or other needs of the vendors. 

Your task includes break down of tables & tents, moving supplies, picking up yard signs & collecting water stations along the route.  Deflate balloons and help vendors with their materials and answer participant questions.
